About My Therapy

I have a desire to help couples and families experience themselves and
each other in ways that are healthy and dynamic. I work hard to make sure that I understand the needs of those I serve while providing therapy that is informed by your values. I look at the challenges that may bring you to therapy as symptoms of a biological/psychological/social breakdown.

I have experience working with people of all ages and a variety of issues in my work with families, couples, individuals and children. My specialization includes working with "parts" using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of therapy developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz. This model of therapy works with your "parts" that get triggered by situations and people.

I have advanced experience and training in IFS but it does not limit my
ability to work with other - more general issues, such as: depression,
anxiety, substance abuse and any of the other issues listed on my Services page.
